About Toys for 5 Year Olds

My friends, and even some of my family members, think that I’m a bit crazy. Not in particular about Toys for 5 Year Olds, but just a wee bit nuts. Except for my kids, that is. They just say, “Dad, you’re weird. But in a good way.”

I love my kids, all 6 of them (even if they don’t know it sometimes.) And I enjoy buying toys, games, puzzles, books, science kits and sporting goods for them. The smile on their faces – the joy that they have – and the amount that they learn – all of these factors make it more than worthwhile.

That still doesn’t explain ToysFor5YearOlds.info, now does it?

I was searching for some toys for my five year old daughter. Now, don’t get me wrong, There are some great websites out there that sell toys. But, Sheesh! I waded through hundreds of toys. Toys for 2 year olds that they’re trying to sell to 5 year olds. Toys for 10 year olds that they’re also pushing on kids that are 5 years old. So enough was enough. It was time to sort out the toy box, so to speak.

So, after rummaging through thousands and thousands of toys and, with the help of some of my children and their friends, picked out a few hundred toys that are (hopefully) ideal for 5 year old boys and girls. Not every toy is for every child, but there is a wide variety of games, puzzles, science kits, dolls and doll houses, arts and crafts and more toys that every 5 year old should be able to find something that will bring a smile to his or her face.
